Vehix is an on-demand, online app-based platform that instantly connects motorists to nearby emergency roadside assistance service providers whenever they need help.
Vehix is launching its primary operations in Uganda, focusing initially on areas where we have an active network of Roadies. We are aggressively expanding our network throughout the region, download the app to see if a Roadie is near you!
Our network of vetted Roadies provides a comprehensive range of on-demand emergency services, including: Battery Jumpstarting, Vehicle Towing, On-Site Flat Tire Changes & Repair and Out of Fuel Delivery.
Response times vary depending on your location, traffic, and weather conditions. However, by leveraging our network of nearby Roadies and live GPS tracking, Vehix drastically cuts down wait times to less than 20 mins. Once your request is accepted, you will receive a live estimated time of arrival (ETA) and can track your rescue on the map.
Due to the unique nature of roadside emergencies, service costs on Vehix are not fixed or pre-determined within the app. Once a Roadie accepts your request, you will connect directly via a phone call or in-app message to discuss the specifics of your situation. This allows both you and the Roadie to negotiate and mutually agree on a fair price before the provider dispatches.
- Riders
On Vehix, a "Rider" is any motorist, vehicle owner or road user who uses the app to request emergency roadside assistance. If you are the one stranded and looking for help, you are the Rider!
Getting help is quick and simple. First, download the Vehix Rider's app "Vehix" and create an account. When you're ready, just select the type of help you need and tap "Request Now." We will instantly match you with the closest available Roadie. From there, you'll connect via call or in-app message to discuss the details and agree on a fair price. Once that's settled, help is just minutes away!
NOTE: Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and your GPS location is turned on so we know exactly where to find you as fast as possible.
Not at all. Downloading the Vehix Rider's app and creating a Rider account is completely free. There are no registration fees, hidden charges, or monthly subscription costs. You only pay out of pocket for the services you actually request, as negotiated with the Roadie.
- Roadies
A "Roadie" is an emergency roadside service provider who comes to your rescue when you need help. They are independent, fully vetted professionals who partner with Vehix Technologies Ltd to deliver roadside assistance through the Vehix app upon request.
Becoming a Roadie on Vehix is quick and straightforward. Just download the Vehix Roadie app "Vehix SP" and sign up with your basic details and NIN. Upload a clear profile photo and a valid ID with the NIN you provided, then choose the services you’d like to offer.
Once you submit your application, our team will review it and complete a quick background check, usually within 48 hours. After approval, you’re good to go—you can start receiving requests and earn right away. If anything needs attention, our team will reach out to assist you.
Registering as a Roadie on Vehix and going through the vetting process is completely free. To help you get started, new Roadies enjoy a trial period where you keep 100% of your earnings.
However, after your trial period ends, a standard service fee will be charged on every completed job. This fee varies depending on the specific type of roadside service you provided through the app.
